A grade 3 metal structure assembly fitter must have initial vocational education and experience in the trade.
Duties: drilling metal parts for packaging of shipped products (flanges for covers, plates for packaging bands and wooden crates, etc.); bending drain pipelines; assembling and welding covers for drain pipelines, stands and other parts of metal packaging for finished products; preparing products for shipment: fitting covers, preservation, installing metal packaging and nameplates.
A slinger-loader certificate, a permit to operate gas cylinders, clearance to work with pneumatic and electric tools and electrical safety group 2 clearance are required.
